The present invention relates to a hairdressing appliance using steam and intended for shaping the hair by contact, in particular for smoothing, wrapping or embossing the hair of a user.
Two types of hairdressing apparatus are traditionally known for smoothing or curling or embossing, the surfaces of which pinch the hair are flat or curved or uneven and are heated or heated.
Hairdressing devices of the type pliers to smooth or loop or emboss generally comprise a portable unit having two pivoting jaws. The jaws each comprise an end supporting a treatment surface, at least one of the treatment surfaces being heated, the other being provided to bring the hair into contact with the first, in particular by moving from an open position of the jaws allowing the insertion of the hair in a closed position for bringing it into contact with the heating part. The other end of the jaws form two half-handles acting as a gripping area and to move from the open position to the closing position. The passage is done manually by pressing the two half-handles articulated of the device towards one another to bring the treatment surfaces in contact with the hair. Smoothing a lock of hair is done by moving the device along the wick, from the root to the tip. The wrap of a lock of hair is made by at least partially winding the wick around the treatment surface (s) and applying heat to fix the loop mainly in static.
It is provided in such devices, to improve the shaping of the hair, to additionally use steam sprayed on the hair.
To improve the sprayability of the hairdressing apparatus, it is known in particular from EP2449912 to deport the fluid storage means used to produce steam. The hairdressing apparatus therefore comprises a base comprising a removable reservoir intended to store the fluid. After filling the reservoir, the user reports it on a support of the base so as to allow a fluid connection between the support and the reservoir. The base support includes a suction / discharge device for supplying the fluid to fluid vaporization means disposed at the portable unit of the hairdressing apparatus.
However, the fluid connection between the reservoir and the support is sometimes poorly realized. Indeed, the user may not correctly position the reservoir so that it is in tight fluid communication with the support. The spray capacity of the hairdressing appliance is then not optimal and the efficiency of the appliance is affected. In addition, a poor fluidic connection or a leaky fluid connection may damage the device and cause malfunctions.
The present invention aims to remedy all or part of the disadvantages mentioned above. To this end, the present invention relates to a base of a hairdressing apparatus comprising: - a support; a removable reservoir configured to occupy a disconnected position in which the reservoir is remote from the support and an operating position in which the reservoir fluidly co-operates with the support, characterized in that the base further comprises a detection system comprising a detector; configured to detect the passage of the tank from the disconnected position to the operating position.
Thanks to the arrangements according to the invention, the detection of the tank passage from the disconnected position to the operating position is accurate. The accuracy of this detection of the position of the tank provides more security to the user during operation of the hairdressing apparatus and more particularly the base. In addition, the provisions of the invention can reduce the risk of malfunctions and degradation of the hairdressing apparatus.
By disconnected position is meant a position of the reservoir in which the reservoir is at a distance from the support, that is to say disconnected fluidically from the support.
According to one aspect of the invention, the detection system comprises an information transmission device configured to communicate tank passage information from the disconnected position to the operating position to a user.
Thanks to these provisions, the user is notified of the passage of the tank from the disconnected position to the operating position. The information to the user is accurate and thus facilitates the use of the hairdressing apparatus. In addition, the risks associated with the use of the apparatus when a non-sealed connection is made between the base and the support are limited.

FIG. 1 represents a hairdressing appliance 1 comprising a base 3, a portable unit 5 offset from the base 3 and a cord 7 electrically and fluidically connecting the base 3 and the portable unit 5.
The base 3, shown in Figure 2, comprises a support 9 and a reservoir 11 arranged to be attached to the support 9. The support 9 comprises a contact portion 13 intended to be arranged on a work plane.
In this embodiment, the reservoir 11 is configured to be attached to the support 9 in an insertion direction DI inclined with respect to the contact portion 13.
The contact portion 13 comprises a substantially flat surface. The contact portion 13 further comprises fixing elements 15 for fixing the support 9 to the work plane. The fastening elements 15 each comprise a suction cup 17.
According to another embodiment, the contact portion 13 comprises pads. Preferably, the insertion direction DI is normal to the contact portion 13.
The reservoir 11 is configured to occupy a disconnected position shown in FIG. 3 in which the reservoir 11 is at a distance from the support 9. The support 9 comprises a bearing portion 19. The reservoir 11 comprises an abutment portion 21 configured to cooperate with the bearing portion 19 of the reservoir 11 to retain the reservoir 11 in the direction of insertion. The bearing portion 19 and the abutment portion 21 cooperate along the circumference of the base 3.

Thus, the groove 23 is configured to retain the reservoir in a retaining direction inclined with respect to the direction of insertion and preferably transverse to the direction of insertion. The reservoir is held on the support in the operating position.
The support 9 comprises a guide portion 27 configured to guide the reservoir 11 on the support 9 when it is placed on the support 9.
The reservoir 11 also comprises a guide portion 29 intended to slide against the guide portion 27 of the support 9 during the introduction of the reservoir 11 on the support 9. Thus, the introduction of the reservoir on the support is facilitated. The reservoir 11 comprises a housing 31 for receiving the fluid. The receiving housing 31 of the fluid comprises an insertion opening 33 of the fluid. The reservoir 11 comprises a closure element 35. The receiving housing 31 of the fluid comprises an outlet opening 39. The reservoir 11 comprises a closure element 41 of the outlet opening 39. The closure element 41 comprises a valve 43. The reservoir 11 is thus in fluid communication with the support 9. The outlet opening 39 comprises at its periphery a sealing element. Thus, when the reservoir 11 occupies the operating position, the fluid connection with the support 9 is made in a sealed manner. The sealing element comprises a gasket or a flexible wall, for example made of silicone.
The base 3 further comprises a detection system 45 comprising a detector 47 configured to detect the passage of the tank 11 from the disconnected position to the operating position. Detector means all types of proximity sensors, for example, mechanical detectors, electrical contact detectors, magnetic or electromagnetic detectors, infrared-type detectors.
The detection of the passage of the tank 11 from the disconnected position to the operating position is thus precise. The accuracy of this detection of the position of the tank 11 brings more security to the user during the start-up of the hairdressing apparatus 1 and more particularly of the base 3. In addition, the detection system 45 makes it possible to reduce the risk of malfunctions and deterioration of the appliance 1.
The detection system 45 includes an information transmission device 49 configured to communicate information from the disconnected position to the operating position to a user. The user is thus notified of the passage of the tank 11 from the disconnected position to the operating position. The information to the user is accurate and thus facilitates the use of the hairdressing apparatus 1.
The detector 47 is arranged to transmit a passage information from the disconnected position to the operating position to the information transmission device 49.
According to the embodiment shown, the detector 47 comprises a detection member 51 movable between a rest position, and a biasing position corresponding to the passage of the tank 11 from the disconnected position to the operating position. The detection member 51 is here a metal blade. The detector 47 further comprises a biasing member 53 arranged to move the detection member 51 between the rest position and the biasing position. The detector 47 is here mechanical, not subject to malfunctions related to devices sensitive to aqueous media, for example electronic devices. The detection member 51 comprises a return element 55 arranged to return the detection member 51 towards the rest position. The return element 55 comprises an elastically deformable element. The return element 55 is constituted by the metal blade, elastically deformable. The detection member 51 is thus integrally formed with the return element 55.
According to another embodiment, the return element 55 may comprise a spring. The detection member 51 comprises a guide surface 57 of the biasing member 53. The biasing member 53 is arranged to drive the detecting member from the rest position to the biasing position, when the user puts the reservoir 11 on the support 9.
In the embodiment shown, the biasing member 53 is integral with the reservoir 11. The biasing member 53 is integral with the reservoir 11. The biasing member 53 comprises a finger 59. The finger 59 is arranged to cooperate with the guide surface 57. The sound wave generator 63 is arranged to emit a sound wave when the tank 11 moves from the disconnected position to the operating position. The sound wave generator 63 comprises a movable portion 65 and a fixed portion 67. The movable portion 65 is arranged to contact the fixed portion 67 to cause a snap generating a sound wave.
The metal blade consists of the moving part 65. The moving part is thus integral with the sensing element 51. The fixed part 67 is integral with the support 9. When the return element 55 recalls the detection member 51 to the rest position, the movable portion 65 comes into contact with the fixed part 67, which generates a slam.
The support 9 further comprises a pump 69. The pump 69 comprises a pump actuator 71. In the embodiment shown, the pump actuator 71 is constituted by a motor 73.
According to one embodiment, the detector 47 may comprise a control interface configured to control the information transmission device 49.
According to another embodiment of the invention, the detector 47 comprises a magnetic element. The detector 47 may comprise, for example, a magnetic switch or a Hall effect sensor.
